Steven is the proud father of two children, daughter April and son Bradley.

Steven has worked in various manufacturing facilities and is currently a fuel transport driver for Tri Star Transport in Nashville.

Brother Steven was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason on September 13, 2008 in Pleasant Green Lodge #291 in Trezevant, TN where he served as Worshipful Master in 2011. Worshipful Brother Barnett is currently a plural member of Constantine Lodge #64 in Lexington and Humboldt Lodge #202 where he served as Worshipful Master the consecutive years of 2013 and 2014.

Companion Barnett was exalted in Paris Chapter #129 in February 2010 and later transferred to Shiloh Chapter #198 in Humboldt where he was elected and served as High Priest in 2012 and 2017. Companion Barnett was elected and served as Illustrious Master of Humboldt Council #100 in 2012 and 2017.

Companion Barnett is a plural member and was elected and served as High Priest of Clinton Chapter #9 and Illustrious Master of Jackson Council #13 in 2018. He is also a plural member of Lexington Chapter #168 and Roy Holland Council #89.

Sir Knight Barnett was elected and served as Eminent Commander of Jackson Commandery #13 in 2015 and 2017. He was elected and served as Eminent Commander of Lexington Commandery #36 in 2018. He is also a plural member of Union City Commandery #29.

He received the Order of High Priesthood and the Order of the Silver Trowel in March 2012.

Sir Knight Barnett was inducted as a Knight Crusader of the Cross (KCC) in March 2015 and received the Knight York Cross of Honor (KYCH) at Tennessee Priory #15 in March 2017. He is the Grand Chapter Representative to the State of Nebraska.

Brother Barnett became a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason at the Memphis Consistory in the Valley of Memphis in November 2018.

Worthy Brother Barnett became a Nobel of Shriners International at Al Chymia Shriners of Memphis in November 2011.

Brother Barnett’s other Masonic affiliations include: West Tennessee York Rite Association, West Tennessee Forest #213 of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Tralee Council #41 Knight Masons, Masonic Order of the Four Black Llamas, Masonic Order of the Sword of Bunker Hill, and Order of the Eastern Star #261 in Milan where he is currently serving as Worthy Patron. Companion Steven was elected Right Excellent Grand Scribe on March 27, 2017 and progressed each year being elected Most Excellent Grand High Priest, Grand Chapter Royal Arch Masons of Tennessee on March 25, 2019.
