Quentin Thomas Bolden

Quentin Thomas Bolden was born the son of James Edward and Hazel Louise
Bolden on October 26, 1965, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Growing up in
Eagleville, as he calls it the Mayberry of Rutherford County. He attended
Eagleville School and graduated from Oakland High School in 1984. Graduated
from Middle Tennessee State University in 1989 obtaining a Bachelor of Science
Degree. Quentin has work as an Outside Property Adjuster for Travelers
Insurance for the past 25 years.

Companion Bolden is married to the former Renee’ Jordan for 30 years and they
reside in Rockvale, Tennessee. They have two children Alicia Villines (Michael)
and Jake Bolden (Ebby). They have two grandchildren Skyler and Matthew Villines. Renee’ and Quentin are both active members of Belle Aire Baptist Church in Murfreesboro.

Quentin has served the Boy Scouts of America for several years. He served
Pack 123 as Bear and Weblos Den Leader. All nine boys in his Weblos Den earned
the Arrow of Light. He served as Scoutmaster for 10 years with Troop 123. He feels the greatest accomplishment in this capacity was 20 of his youth earned Scouting’s highest rank of Eagle Scout. During his Scouting years, Quentin received the Daniel Carter Beard Masonic Scouter Award in 2008, completed Wood Badge having completed his tickets and earning his Beads in 2010, received Trail of Tears Long Rifle Award 2018. He is a Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow and served Wedee Chapter Order of the Arrow as Chapter Advisor for five years.

Brother Quentin was raised a Master Mason in Mt. Moriah #18 F. & A.M. on
February 17, 1987. Serving as Worshipful Master of Mt. Moriah #18 in 1996 and serving Rockvale #413 as Worshipful Master in 2003 and 2018. He is currently serving as Treasurer. He is currently serving the Grand Lodge of Tennessee on the Credentials Committee. He has earned the Pin of Excellence.

Exalted in Pythagoras Chapter #150 Royal Arch Masons on February 11, 1989.
Served his Chapter as Excellent High Priest in 1995, currently serving as
Treasurer/Secretary. He received the Order of the High Priesthood in 1996. He
also holds the Grand Chapter Ritual Jewel.

Companion Bolden was greeted in Murfreesboro Council #115 Royal & Select Masters on February 11, 1989 and served as Illustrious Master in 1995. He received the Order of the Silver Trowel in 1996. Companion Bolden is serving as Treasurer/Recorder. He served the Grand Council of Tennessee for Most Illustrious Grand Master Nick Ramos as Grand Conductor of the Council in 1995. He is currently serving the Grand Council on the Ritual Committee. He received the Adult Youth Leadership award in 2019. He holds the Grand Council Ritual Jewel.

Sir Knight Bolden was knighted in Murfreesboro Commandery #10 Knights Templar on April 1, 1989, serving as Commander in 1995 and 2005. He is currently serving as Treasurer/Recorder.

in November of 1989, decorated Knight Commander of the Court of Honor 2005,
Middle Tennessee York Rite College #143; Tennessee Priory #15, Knights York
Cross of Honor; Middle Tennessee York Rite Association, serving as President in
2005; Arch E. McClanahan #358, AMD; Old Hickory Conclave, Red Cross of
Constantine; Ezra Council #89, Knight Masons; Charter Member of Old Stone
Church, The Worshipful Society of Free Masons; Charter Member of Filius Dei
Tabernacle LXXXIV U.D., Holy Royal Arch Knight Templar Priest; Al Menah,
AAONMS, Past President of Murfreesboro Shrine Club; Murfreesboro Chapter
#363 and Woodbury #504 Order of the Eastern Star, serving as Worthy Patron in
both Chapters.

In the Grand Council, Companion Bolden was elected Grand Captain of the Guard
in 2019 and has progressed each year being elected Most Illustrious Grand Master
of Cryptic Masons of Tennessee March 20, 2023.
