Born July 16, 1944 in Paducah, Ky. To Clarence & Delores Crump. Clarence attended 1st thru 8th grades in Paducah, then moved to Livingston County, Ky. Where he graduated from Livingston Central High School in 1962. August 9th 1962 joined the USAF where he served 4 years & received an honorable discharge in August 1966.

In 1962 Clarence Married his High school Sweetheart Barbara Ann Kirk who is still supporting him in everything. They Have Two Children a Daughter Millie & Husband Bill & a Son Kirk & wife Sharon who they are very Proud of & two Grandsons Aaron & wife Marinda & Austin & wife Chelsea.

Clarence & Barbara Attend New Life Baptist Church in Bluff City Tennessee where they presently live. Both worked in the Awana Youth program several years.

Clarence was raised to the Sublime degree of Master Mason in April 1982 in King Lodge #461 Bristol, Tennessee where he served as Worshipful Master in 1988, 2001 & 2002. In March 2002 was Exalted in Anderson Chapter #141 & served as EHP in 2003 & received The Order of High Priesthood. Became a member of Bristol Council #126 in March 2002 & served as IM in 2003 & Received the Order of The Silver Trowel. Knighted in ST. Omer Commandery #19 in 2002 & served as EC in 2005. Also a Member of Watauga Commandery #25 & served as EC in 2013, Kingsport Commandery #33 & served as EC in2016, Carter Commandery #37 & served as EC in 2018 & also a member of Greeneville

Commandery #43. Served as Grand Master of the 3rd Veil & Grand Royal Arch Captain appointed offices in the Grand Chapter of Tennessee as well as Eight various appointed Offices in the Grand Commandery of Tennessee. Was elected to the office of Grand Captain General of Tennessee in 2016 progressing each year thru the Elected Line serving as Very Eminent Deputy Grand Commandery In 2018. Have received the KYCH, KCCH as a member of the Knoxville Scottish Rite Bodies, KTCH, Royal Arch Mason of the Year & Order of the Purple Cross. Past President of the Upper East Tennessee York Association, Charles Newton Bush Past Masters Association, Knight Crusader of the Cross of the East & Governor of East Tennessee York Rite College #153. He is a Member of Saint Julian Conclave Of the Red Cross of Constantine, Knight Commanders, AMD & Knight Masons & The Tennessee College Masonic Societas Rosicruciana in Civitatibus Foederatis.
